I have seen a lot of you posting about getting your babies ears pierced and I just have a few questions. I got my baby girls ears pierced yesterday (just turned 3 months) and the doctor told me to clean it twice a day for 2 weeks with warm water and soap. How are you guys cleaning them? I’m using a cotton ball with soap on it but I’m wondering if I get clean them better with q-tip or maybe a soft wash cloth? Also what kind of soap are you using? My doctor told me her regular soap that I use for bath time is fine, but I’m thinking of getting an antibacterial soap instead. And lastly, did they give you any kind of cleaner? I remember after any piercing I got, the piercing place gave me a cleaner to use with a cotton ball-but my pediatrician told me soap and water was fine to use, does that sound right to you?
