Does mastitis always require antibiotics to go away?

I’m not sure if I even have it. What do you ladies think? I woke up with a bruised feeling in my left breast...all on the outer side between my armpit and nipple. It doesn’t hurt when I move...only when I touch it. There’s no redness or hardness, and I can still breastfeed on that side.

I do have mild body aches but I also tweaked my neck BAD this morning. I haven’t been able to move it all day and I was in tears for 30 minutes due to the pain. No idea if the body aches could be because of that???

Also, I’ve been breastfeeding for 1.5 years and I’m in the process of slowly weaning.

The other thing I worry about is the antibiotic drying up my remaining supply.
