Should I use lube for my first time?

So I'm 16 my bf is 17 and we are having sex for the first time tonight. I literally tell my boyfriend EVERYTHING and that includes my vaginal issues. I've told him that sometimes I have issues fingering myself or fitting this small dildo in. So he told me he bought me a water based lube for tonight. I don't know how I feel about this. If I need extra lubricant for my vagina and it's supposed to create its own lube, then doesnt that mean I have issues?!

Your boyfriend sounds educated as hell. I wasn't aware that straight guys knew what lube was. And he suggested WATER BASED on top of that?

A lot of women use lube and it helps their sex lives tremendously. So I’d go ahead and use it tonight if I were you but if you’re concerned you could always make an appointment and talk to a doctor about it🤷🏼‍♀️

tbh, i used lube my first time & it still hurt but it doesn’t bother to still use it, it’ll be easier tbh. sex w/o lube can sometimes not be so comfortable i see but it’s not a bad idea to use lube!! i’m sick of the people who think lube is for women who just can’t wet like NOOO that ain’t it boo

WATER BASED LUBE!! Who is this kid?! That’s amazing! Even if women do get wet, lube is just healthy to have! As you get older I’m sure things will change. Definitely use the lube!
