Preeclampsia aftermath

I dealt with severely high bp suddenly at 35 weeks and was induced and my bp has never gotten back to normal. My baby is 4 months old now. It’s definitely not as high as it was then, but I’m really scared about having another baby even though I know I want one. Has anyone experienced this? Did your bp eventually get back to normal without medication and if so, what did you do to get there? I’m eating clean and exercising. Some people tell me it will eventually get back to normal but like I said, I’m scared it might not and what that will mean for another pregnancy
