How many IUIs did it take till you got your BFP ?

I’m having my first IUI this week and I’m wondering if I should even get my hopes up that it’ll happen the first time....
Clomid 5-9 50mg with unexplained infertility. I usually produce 2-3 mature follicles on Clomid (I took it twice before but without IUI). I go for follicle scan tomorrow then trigger then IUI this week. 🤞🏽

I did one IUi - unfortunately it failed even though I had three large follicles and they told me I was high risk for triplets. Then after that cycle failed I went in for a baseline appointment to start IUI #2 and they called me minutes after leaving saying I had a cyst on my ovary from all the hormones I’ve been on and I needed a month off. I got so angry and upset and decided if I was taking a month off then the next cycle we would start IVF. They understood and allowed it. Started IVF in July, had a great retrieval and then had a hysteroscopy which had problems so I needed surgery and time to heal. On January 9th we transferred our healthy embryo and I’m thankful to be pregnant. 
Just because IUI didn’t work for me, doesn’t mean it won’t work for you. I know a couple people with success stories.
