Metformin

Has anyone had to use Metformin TTC? If so did you have bad side effects?

I haven’t actually been diagnosed with PCOS but I’m thinking I have it. Have been off the pill and been TTC for 14 months now and have only had 4 periods.

Have high egg count. Done femara after last period. Did not induce ovulation. 3 internal ultrasounds within 7 days after period ended, follicles only got to 12mm. Previous US follicles were 23mm but no ovulation occurring. Obgyn now has me

on metmorfin, it’s making me so ill with diarrhoea and nausea. Nothing seems to help.

Also Back on the pill while taking metformin as well to try and help with period and ovulation.
