Bassinet recommendations?

Nothing like being 37 weeks and putting your packnplay together and realizing it's giant! We have a modest 3 bedroom ranch and are just looking for something for baby to sleep in for awhile in our room... This pack n play is giant! It is already put together so Idk if I can return it but am going to try. The other features are nice but we already have a vibrating/rocking chair bassinet thing (its the inclined type) and with the size of my house we will just change baby in his or her room. I would like something higher up so our curious dog doesn't wake the baby up...
