Bassinet to crib

I always thought once we were done using the bassinet that we could bring the crib into our room. The problem we realized is that it doesn’t fit! The crib we have is too large.

The aap guidelines state we need to room share for ideally up to a year, but I don’t know how we will be able to do this if the crib doesn’t fit in the room. What are you ladies planning to do?

Also, I seen a post on here regarding a pack n play, and it made me wonder if I can fit a pack n play in my room. Is it okay for a baby to sleep in a pack n play every night?
