I had strep and was prescribed an antibiotic. I have gotten yeast infections in the past while on antibiotics because they literally kill all of your good bacteria trying to get rid of the bad bacteria. My friend who is a nurse, genuinely does not believe you can get a yeast infection from antibiotics, her exact words to me, “I don’t see how medicine for your strep can cause a yeast infection but what do I know?” YEAH GIRL WHAT DO YOU KNOW
