I am feeling so defeated. I got my BFP February 12 and I have been waiting for my first appointment March 18. I’ll be 8-9 weeks by then.

I called today and found out that there’s no ultrasound at this appointment or bloodwork etc. 😭 I feel so disappointed. I was so looking forward to this appointment to see if everything was progressing as needed and really SEE it on an U/S or even my HCG levels.

Now I have to wait another week or two for our referral to get processed. Hopefully another week will fly by.

Now I’m curious what on earth are they going to do in this appointment? Give me the do’s and don’ts? I feel like we already have to do much of that research ourselves just to even get to that first appointment. So frustrated. Curious what other Canadian ladies expect for their first appt.

**UPDATE: My boss told me about a women’s clinic in my area and they’ll help me “date” where I’m at and I should have a lot more luck getting in there than waiting around for my doctor to give me more insight.
