What’s going on?

My baby turns 2 weeks on Wednesday- she’s been acting like she’s starving so I’m constantly feeding her, I can hear her swallowing and everything like I have before but just today she wants to eat eat eat - am I not producing enough? She used to be satisfied with a 25 mins feeding today’s it’s 35-40 mins & she still wants to eat- how will I know if this isn’t enough for her or should I be doing something else like pumping to make more?

Sounds like cluster feeding ! That’s normal. I literally sat on the couch for hours. Make sure you have lots of water and snacks by your side.

Totally normal to have periods of cluster feeding.

As long as you know baby is gaining weight then they should be okay, if not I'd talk to a lactation consultant and your pediatrician

She might be going through a growing spurt! My baby does this too and has random cluster feeds.

She's cluster feeding. Don't worry about her not getting enough from you, the point of cluster feeding is to increase your milk supply so it can continue to sustain her as she grows bigger. Also, two weeks is when they go through their first growth spurt (:

Pay attention to the number of pee and poop diapers. That's s good indication if whether or not baby is getting enough milk. Also weight gain. It sound alike baby is cluster feeding which is what my baby is doing. He's starting to give me a little more of a break in between feedings but I basically just hang out on the couch with him and watch my shows while he eats and sleeps in my arms.

Growth spurt. My girl is going though the same .. she jumped from 7’6 to 8’13 in almost 2 weeks
