They will test by blood since it gives you an actual number. They won’t generally do an ultrasound and likely it would be far too early to see anything at that time. Probably about 5-6 weeks they might do it that early. Did you do a trigger shot? All the best!!

My husband and I had our third IUI this morning. This was our first month on clomid as the first 2 were using letrozole. I had 3 big follicles (previously only one each time) and my husband’s numbers were by far better than any other after the wash. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
My question is about the pregnancy test. We are scheduled to go in for a test on the 13th, but I didn’t think to ask if it was a urine test or a blood test. What has your experience been? Also, do they do an ultrasound that day to see how many follicles were fertilized? It’s been less than 12 hours and I’m already going crazy. It’s going to be a looooong 2 weeks.

Thank you! I took 250mg of Ovidrel on Saturday night and had my IUI on Monday morning. I was definitely ovulating on Monday morning. I could really feel it. 🤞🏻

Awesome!! Hope this works for you! What trigger shot did you do? I’m taking this cycle off of meds and next cycle we will do our first IUI! I can’t wait!! I’m a nurse and I tend to over analyze everything..and I’m very much a planner-all the numbers and all that! I wish u the best!! Will keep my fingers crossed for you!
