How many people came to your wedding?

How many people did you invite and how many actually came? How much did it cost if you don’t mind answering and what was the most expensive part? Did you do buffet or meals and what would you recommend? Open bar or no? How many bridesmaids/groomsmen were there? What was your favorite detail?

I only invited like 75 people and only about sixty show up.I invited the people that I felt the closest to and that I actually had a relationship with.my whole wedding costed me $3,000. the most expensive thing was food which was  $900. I got everything my wedding as cheap as possible. My dress was a second-hand dress I also had another dress that I got from eBay. bridesmaid dresses I got them at the David's bridal from their clearance sale. Bridesmaid dresses cost under $100 each. we did the wedding an reception at a VFW that had a reception hall. To rent out the place was $200. I did my own makeup and hair. I bought a headkandy hair curler for $115 on sale. I bought Mary Kay makeup on sale. Like in a little knick-knacks I got lights from wish .I got mason jar guest book that I can hang on the wall from wish.I did have the guest book but I really wanted to have something that I could put up after the wedding.I was hitting hobby lobby an Mitchell's  sales they had going on when they want to switch out their older stuff.I was even going to Goodwill's when I was driving by because I did a country wedding and they always have something for country.sometimes you can get cheaper things from the Goodwill that usually hobby lobby or Mitchell are selling.especially look for second hand stuff because there's people that have had wedding now they're selling the stuff that they no longer need. I had cake but it was disgusting. I also had cupcakes and they were delicious and they lasted for about a month after the wedding. I did a hundred and twenty German chocolate cupcakes. I also did 120 vanilla cupcakes. A cake costed about $300. 240 cupcakes cost me $260 .they were freshly made 24 hours before the wedding. Everybody loved the cupcakes even the children.

We invited about 85 and had around 75 come. Altogether, our wedding cost us about $3,000 because we budgeted and DIYed anything we could, and we held it in a park lodge. That reservation was the biggest cost, at $500. We did a buffet, which I would 100% recommend. We also didn't provide alcohol because neither my husband nor I drink, and nobody had a fit and people still danced all night and had a great time. Some people brought their own beer and that didn't bother me. I had four bridesmaids and my husband had five groomsmen. We did donuts for favors and had pumpkins everywhere. We did apple, pumpkin, and blueberry pie instead of cake lol. I got my dress and shoes at Macy's for $60 and I wouldn't change a thing! One of my favorite details (aside from my grandpa wearing a donut tie and a donut sweater lol) was our tables. We had fake leaves and mason jars with fake flowers, Hershey kisses, and a deck of cards at each table. We also had a table of board games for people to play between the ceremony and dinner, and during the reception. Oh! Another favorite detail, instead of a guest book we had people sign a monopoly board. The puns that people came up with were amazing 😂 and now it's hanging in our living room next to our board game shelf lol. I also had my friend officiate and I wrote the script for the ceremony. The whole thing was just so us, and that's the best advice I can give. Make it uniquely you. A lot of weddings feel the same, so we wanted ours to be about us and feel like us. Cue the little touches like the decks of cards and board games, the donuts and pie and cider (was a fall wedding obviously lol), the ceremony, the music, even our photos lol. Also for food, we did pulled pork and mac and cheese with some vegetable sides, and people LOVED it! We didn't go with tradition and that was the best decision for us

We had about 300 people come. We have huge Hispanic families. I can actually say these were all close family and friends. We spent $20,000 and our family also helped.  We did buffet style food. Our most expensive cost was definitely food and alcohol. Those were one of my top priorities. We also had a live band with DJ so those three things were our biggest cost.  
I had 7 bridesmaids and my husband had 6 groomsmen. 
My favorite details was having good food and drinks and fun music for everyone to dance too!  We had a blast.
