So I had a bit of a traumatic hospital experience, tried breastfeeding but was in so much pain everywhere else that the pain on my breasts was just too much to handle every hour like they wanted me to (ftm so I had no idea what I was doing) so they had me supplement. Well for a week I was still putting her to breast every time she fussed and giving formula when she clearly wasn't satisfied (I had colustrum) i waited and waited to get engorged but never did. Tried pumping, hand expressing, nothing (no wonder baby was hungry) i still have never gotten any milk in and am now obviously exclusively formula feeding. But my breasts are still puffy and tingly sometimes with some sharp shooting pains . Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Also has anyone been given a reason for the lack of milk? I started leaking colustrum at 28 weeks so thought for sure this wouldn't be an issue!
