Did Nexplanon make you gain weight

Question

So I really dont want to get pregnant and I would prefer getting an IUD but I had one inserted before and it was horribly painful for me and I dont want to go through that again.
I'm also on a weight loss journey and dont want to gain weight so did the Nexplanon make you gain any weight?

Ive lost a lil bit of weight and im not trying and i also work in fast food 🤷🏼‍♀️

I gained weight but it was due to my own poor eating habits. Nexplanon doesn’t cause direct weight gain. But, it can possibly cause bloating and/or an increase in appetite, which can give the effect of weight gain if not controlled. I’ve been on a couple weight loss journeys since being on Nexplanon & was able to lose weight both times. The second time, which is my current journey, I’ve lost 70 pounds so far in a little over a year.
