Moms, do you need alone time away from your kids?

I said this to a mom and she made me feel bad about it and said she just wants to enjoy her babies.

I'm a SAHM. I'm with my kids ALL the time. Damn straight I need some alone time. Whenever my husband offers to take the kids so I can do my own thing, I fucking book it out of the house.

Not get me wrong, I’m obsessed with my son and want to spend every minute I can with him, BUT I need to decompress and have a moment to relax too.

Hell yes!!! It’s completely normal & healthy for parents to need, have, and enjoy time away from their kids. Not only does it help keep us sane lol, but it also allows the kids to know that parents can have time away from them & still come back & still love them. Us having time away, has absolutely nothing to do with not loving or enjoying our kids!! So, don’t ever let anyone make u feel bad for needing time for yourself!!

I’m a working mom. So I’m not with my son 24/7, but I still need a break. Alone. It’s a lot working, coming home taking care of him, and household things. Especially lately my mental health just isn’t the best. So I’ve been in a need of a break. I love my son and love what I do. But everyone needs a break.

People need alone time from anyone not just kids . Having alone time IS healthy . Some need more than others , some people only need a little . But alone time is soooo important. Just because your a mother doesn’t mean your not your own person too

Are you kidding?? Yes! I only have 1 and he's only 3 months old but if I never get time without him I go INSANE. Just absolutely miserable. EVERYONE needs alone time, especially if you're a SAHM.
