So I've been watching a lot of videos about this topic and sort of had this thought:

If you see someone's art and do the same picture (same poses, character, background, effects, etc) but in your own art style (no tracing, just the photo for reference and stuff), assuming that you give credit to the original artist and their art, is it theft?

I know there is a big difference between using someone's art as reference and straight up remaking their art in your own style, but I don't believe either of them should be considered theft.

Additionally: Where exactly would you draw the line on art theft vs art inspiration?
