Yay!!

I had an ultrasound and blood work today to check a cyst which has been delaying my IVF protocol. The cyst is still there, but it’s shrinking dramatically and not producing hormones so they gave me the green light to start my birth control for 10 days! I was expecting to have to wait several more months because just 2 weeks ago my cyst was over 32mm, but now it’s 12mm and shriveled. The tech said it looks like it’s going away quickly. I’m so happy!

Also, on a side note, am I allowed to drink when I’m on my birth control, or is it discouraged?
