Do I need to pump??

Question

I'll be 40 weeks tomorrow and I'm due to be induced the day after. Dr did a membrane sweep today, which caused some spotting and cramping. But now my boobs are on fire!! It's a strange feeling but it feels like I NEED to breastfeed or pump. Like that's the only way they will stop aching so badly. Anyone have any advise?

I would recommend pumping to induce labor without your doctors okay. 
I don’t think the pain your feeling is the need to pump, your body signals your brain to start making milk once the placenta detaches & for many women takes 3-5 days to full come in.
