I am 9 days postpartum, on day 6 I had a big blood clot. I called the nurse and she informed me it's normal especially if you breastfeed. She did say get checked if I bleed a pad a hour, and continue to have big blood clots. Relived that it was just that clot. I had a non medicated vaginal birth with two 1% tear. My vagina is sore, and been having period like cramps. Yesterday and today I've been having small clots. My bleeding lighted a lot couple days ago, now it's bright red, but not bleeding a lot. Is it normal to still have light cramps and clots?

This is my second child and I remember having normal bleeding and having pain the first 4 days.

Any ideas how to relieve soreness and boost my milk supply?
