Is it to much too quick?
So recently my boyfriend and I have been talking about moving in together. We’ve been together for a while now and despite the fact that both of our names aren’t on the lease yet we pretty much already live together. All the groceries come to one house, we sleep in one bed, etc. etc..
Recently I’ve been doing my own little social experiment by adding a thing or two to the bathroom cabinet. A tooth brush, then a hair brush, them some deodorant you know, the basics. Everything seemed fine, I made an effort not to disrupt the bulk of his things so I placed all of my stuff on the second shelf (which more or less was empty with the exception of some bars of soap and a few other things that I quietly moved down to his shelf)
Upon realizing that my things had made a grand stand on his shelf I received a text at work from him stating that he appreciated me “straightening up” however he would like for me to not “move thing because they are placed in certain spots for a reason”...😐 I simply moved the soaps and scooted his stock pile of deodorants over. Now due to me being a bit offended Ive moved my toiletries from the cabinet and I’m back to pulling things out my bag to do simple things like wash my face, or brush my hair. Of course due to all of this I’ve been a little quieter lately.
We both have never meshed two homes into one before so growing pains are to be expected. He’s a bit neat freak and has a way specific way he organizes his cabinet but how do I go about talking to him about this or at least getting my damn self back? Lol this all sounds petty but I’m sure there’s a woman who can relate!
