ASVAB MISTAKE ?

I made a 41 on the Picat and I wanted to study more and get a better score. So the recruiter told me he would not allow me to take a second Picat test and instead just signed me up to take the real asvab test. Did I make a mistake? Is real the asvab harder ? And it’s also timed and the Picat isn’t.

My fiance is a recruiter. He's explained to many applicants that once you take the picat and you want to retake it, it has to be the asvab down at MEPS, there are no second chances with the picat. He's a very honest man and could always help if you need it. The asvab isn't harder, but there is a lot more information to study for than it used to. (I took it in 2013)

I don’t think I’d say the asvab is harder. There’s more questions which means a little more room for error. From what I read you can’t retake the Picat unless two years have elapsed since you’ve taken it.
