Is this weird or am I looking too much into it? Please read!

Question

So I’m very newly pregnant with my second child, a girl, and we conceived her thanks to IVF (same as my 9 month old son🙂)  
Is it weird to have Ivy as one of our top names?? Does it soon like we’re naming her after IVF? I’ve loved the name for yeeeeears and I just realized how odd it is.
Let me know your thoughts!!

I think it’s sweet! One- you liked it for years and two- having a tribute to the way you created her is also special. We are pregnant with our baby boy thanks to IVF. I am so thankful for science! We have a little girl on ice that we plan to transfer in a couple years as well.

Not weird I love that name too. I personally knew what I was going to name my babies aka kids before I got pregnant. I also collaborated with my hubby to make sure it was an mutal decision which eliminated some my baby names. 
People thought I was weird because I timeline and organized getting pregnant to baby names and actually calculated when i ideal want to have the baby and oddly it all went as plan to schedule.
So no not word just thoughtful and different but not in the bad way. If you love it and honestly it’s not something like blanket lmao or Apple. Lmao hopefully you get the joke references I think it’s cool and cute. Good luck with your pregnancy

I love the name and would definitely use it. We had boy/girl twins with ivf. My dad soo badly wanted us to name the peetry and Petra because they were Petri dish babies lol. That was too far for me but Ivy is beautiful!
