I’m 18 and I’m going to the Marines and I know my main goal isn’t to find a guy but I want one now that I’m getting older is there a way I can focus on my life and my goals at the same time while trying to find somebody or should I just leave it and they will come to me￼

I’m in the Army. Your hormones are going to be going crazy being around guys all the time. It’s normal. I rushed into something with another guy because I didn’t know how to handle everything I was feeling and thought it was because of him. It wasn’t your pushing your body to do a lot and being in close quarters with a lot of guys is going to throw you off your game. Be safe have fun but don’t over think it and don’t get married to some guy you’ve only known for a few months for the Housing allowance or because your going to different stations. It’s a rookie move that to many people succumb to.
