Should I be worried?

My son doesn't crawl but he does get around. He puts his hands on the floor and has one leg crossed in and the other one extended out and he moves that way.. I'm scared something may be wrong with his leg

Mine does this. My coworkers son did it before he started to walk. Do you have hardwood floors?  My daughter seems more inclined to try normal crawling when we are upstairs on carpet and my coworkers son leaned on hardwood too.  Itd be interesting if that factors in somehow.

My niece did this for awhile. She’d drag her one leg behind her lol. She got the hang of it eventually and has no issues with her legs. Babies are interesting creatures 🥰.

From what I've read as long as they're  mobile in some way it's perfectly okay.

I just read an article that this is completely normal. my son has been army crawling for two months now which is also normal! He’s scary fast 😂 apparently every baby has their own unique way of crawling and some never actually “crawl” the way we think they should (hands and knees)
If you’re concerned about it though, definitely bring it up with his pediatrician. I wouldn’t be too worried though mama ♥️

My friends 14 month old still does this and she was told that it’s caused by a tight muscle and would need a physical therapist to correct it. Not sure if that’s a general recommendation or specific to her child though
