Baby holding ears?

Does anyone else’s baby hold their face like this? What does it mean? It’s like she has a headache or something. She’s always does it. She’s 4 months old.

Mine always does his left ear and when I told my pediatrician she said it could be a sign of teething or ear wax build up or ear infection.

Mine covers his face when he naps; it’s a comfort thing I guess; Mine is 4 months on the 14th.

Normally I’d said either she’s tired or has an ear infection, but if it’s something she’s always done, then I’d agree with Bonquiqui, it’s probably a comfort thing.

Comfort thing. I wouldn’t think about it too much but my autistic brother would do this as a baby and still does it at 16 years old. They are sensitive to noise ect
