Confused, please help.

so i've been having this discharge for the past 3 days and it's been going on and off. i'm really confused if it is a really super light period or implantation bleeding. i'm scared to take a pregnancy test and have it negative. please help.

p.s it happened on my supposedly first day of period and my period is not usually this light.
