Diapers?

I’m almost 16 weeks pregnant right now and I’m starting to buy things and I want to stock up on like diapers but I have noooo idea how many of each size I should stock up on? What do you think?

I say don’t buy any right now. Wait till ur baby shower. Have a raffle! My baby will be 5 months on the 15th and I haven’t bought dippers since she was born thanks to my baby shower 😃

I’d consider sticking up on gift certificates instead of diapers. There’s no way of knowing how long your baby will be in what size and it can become quite a pain to exchange...especially if you get a bunch of one kind of diaper and they don’t work out for you 
Everyone swore our baby would be in size 2 diapers for forever...we had boxes and boxes of size 2. He was in size 2 for less than 3 weeks. He was in newborn for over 2 months even though he wasn’t small, and by 7ish months was in a size 5. Our friends daughter 2.5 weeks younger has been in 3s for months.

I’ve been stocking up since I was maybe 4-5 months. I have some newborn maybe 2 small pampers boxes, but a few boxes of size 1 more. My son who was born 6lbs 8oz is 2 and he still wears size 4 right now. I would just say don’t over do the newborn size they can grow quick at first. A size up is always best

I bought 2 big boxes of newborn, 1 big box of size 1, 3 boxes of size 2, and 5 boxes size 3, all target brand with their 15% registry coupon. I looked at how many diapers other moms went through so I could get a good estimate. My baby was 1 pound smaller than I had planned for so I had to buy a few boxes of newborn and 3 more cases of size 1 which we are still in.

I would wait for diapers I always bought as I went. Because you never know what size your baby will be and how fast. Like everyone bought be size 1 diapers. And my son was tiny so he was in newborns for a while.

I wouldn't buy any. You don't know what you'll get from your shower if you have one. Also, you don't know how fast the baby will grow. You don't want to buy too many diapers.

You can usually exchange diapers for different sizes, so if you end up not opening a box you can just exchange it for the next size up. I started buying diapers early as well to take advantage of good sales.

Don’t get too many of one size. When I was still pregnant I bought a month box of  size 1, 2 and 3 when they were on sale. 
Turned out my daughter was small and she started in size 0 diapers and I used size 1 for almost 2 months. She is just in size 2 diapers. 
It’s so hard to say what size your baby will start in and how long the baby will stay in the same size
