Did you wait to find out your baby’s gender?

I’m 6 weeks with baby #2! This will be our last baby & I really want it to be a surprise but my husband wants to find out as soon as we can. ☹️ 
Tell me your stories so I can maybe change his mind! 😏

We found out with our first but not our second. I wanted to experience it both ways. I preferred not knowing, it was a bit of extra excitement. I had it written specifically in my birth plan that my husband was to be the one to tell me boy or girl. We even made our family wait till they came to the hospital to tell them whether it was a boy or girl. If we have a third I won't be finding out again. 
There are very few true surprises left in this world and I really believe this is one you should experience at least once in life.

We waited. I loved it, but for some reason I just knew she was a girl. Maybe I'll feel different if she had turned out to be a boy. 😂 I would have been happy either way of course, but I started calling her "she" from about 12 weeks. I think if she was a boy I would have had trouble connecting the baby in my belly to the one in my arms... if that makes sense?
We're planning to start trying for baby #2 next year, I have mixed feelings on finding out the gender. Again, either way would be fine. It would be nice for my daughter to have a sister and it would be cheaper, but at the same time it would be nice to experience raising both genders.
On the one hand I thought it was really fun not knowing the gender and I LOVE surprises and a lot of my daughter's newborn clothes were unisex so we won't need to buy new stuff either way. 
On the other hand it might be harder to attach if I have strong feelings it's a certain gender and it isn't, it would be easier to know which of my daughter's stuff we should take out of storage and what we would need to buy (because a LOT of her 0-3 month clothes are summery dresses that won't look good on a boy) and it might be fun knowing just because we didn't with our first.

We waited for our twins. I found it suprisingly easy. Maybe because we tried for so long and had to do ivf to even get them so I honestly did not care at all about what gender they were.

We didn't wait at all...did the sneak peek blood test at 9 weeks 😂 I have been thinking about having our next one be a surprise but I'm not sure if my husband would go for it!

We didn't.  But we plan to with our next one!! My husband wasn't on board with it but I told him I wanted him to be the one to announce it to me and then he agreed. Lol guess he feels special.

We found out with both our babes early on. Currently 12 weeks along with our third and last little one. Since we have a boy and girl already, we’re going to wait to be surprised. I think it will be really special and I’m excited to find out at birth.

We did the blood test at 10weeks so no lol, but if I ever have another baby I'm definitely waiting! I feel like it will add a whole new element to the birth, also I won't have to worry about my mother in law telling me what I can and can't buy based on one gender or the other

I hit yes but meant no. For me it was a mental thing. I could start binding with baby while it was in me. I had a hard time connecting while calling them “it”. He and she made it real. Also, after having my first and realizing the hormone roller coaster you go on,  I’m really really glad I found out so that way I didn’t have any gender disappointment and those hormones. Even finding out at 20 weeks I was a little sad
