Consent or not?
We've all been on the phone with a company that tells you the line is recorded.
Does that mean the person on the company's end automatically agrees to the phone call being recorded?
Does that mean anyone in their company using the recorded line automatically consents to the customer recording the call as well?
Can the company consent to their recording of the conversation, but not the customers recording of the conversation?
If the company has already stated the line is being recorded does the customer have to also tell the company they are being recorded?
