Moms with Multiples, What did you do?

We have no one to watch our son for the two nights we will be staying at the hospital when baby girl arrives? I would hate for SO to miss baby girl’s arrival but we don’t have anyone to watch our son.. thoughts?

The hospital were I was gonna deliver my second  son wasn't gonna allow my son stay or visit his little brother, and I didn't want to go a day with out seeing him. So I changed hospital at 36 weeks. I had no one to care for him over night so he stayed at the hospital with his dad and I. Now both my sons are born at the the same hospital with the same doc.

Do you have any family or friends that could travel to come and stay with you?
Or would you feel comfortable hiring someone?- they would need to be on standby. You could also check with your hospital as my local hospital had occasional care available on site (although it was only during business hours).
My cousin’s son was very premature and the plans of her parents traveling to come and stay did not work out. Her husband ended up waking the neighbor (who they knew) and she “watched” her daughter (although their daughter was sleeping so really she just sat in their house) until a friend arrived a couple of hours later (as the baby was so premature they couldn’t wait out the early stages at home like you normally would).

Unless youre comfortable hiring someone you gotta do what you have to do. I’m due in 12 days and made arrangements for my SIL to watch my other like IMMEDIATELY after we found out so she could request off
