Does ovulation occur on peak day or after OPK fades? I have heard several things about when you actually ovulate, so I’m feeling a bit confused. I’ve been trying to track ovulation with temping and OPK strips. Here’s my questions:

1.) Do you ovulate on peak day or does ovulation take place 12-36 hours after peak OPK test? Or when OPK tests fade?

2.) What do you look for to confirm ovulation on BBT chart? Are you looking for a temp spike or or a temp drop? My temps are always wacky, so I’m not entirely sure what I’m looking for.

We are traveling this week, leaving tomorrow. I want to make the most of the time we have outside of the vehicle but I’m not sure when ovulation happens exactly.. 😬🤷🏼‍♀️ My peak OPK was on the 7th (CD 18). We BD’d CD: 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and late late on 19/early am 20. When did ovulation happen or has it happened? Should we BD again or is that pointless?
