Not dilated?

Anybody else around 36+3 and not dilated at all?

I don't plan on letting my doctor check unless he really thinks it necessary. It doesn't really mean anything anyways.

Nope. 36+1 and was checked yesterday. Nothing so far. Doctor told me I’m “closed” lol.

My doctors don’t believe on cervical checks prior to 40 weeks. They think they are unnecessary

My next apt is on the 18th and I'll be 35 weeks(35 the next day) I dint even know when they are going to start checking me lol

36+ weeks 1cm dilated, cervix is soft.

My Dr hasn’t even checked yet. It’s not an indicator of labor nearing. 
With our first last March I walked around dilated and effaced for weeks...then had to be induced past my due date. One of my best friends was closed and not effaced at all (2 weeks after me), told there’s no way she’d go into labor anytime soon, her water spontaneously broke a few days later.

I got check at 35 weeks and even though baby was low, dilation was 0 and cervix still thick...

Currently pregnant with number 2. With DS1 my waters broke at 39w+5d. Went to the hospital at exactly 40w to be induced (since nothing was happening) and my cervix was still fully closed and hard.

I just got checked today. I’m a fingertip and about 50% effaced.
