Weight gain stress

Jill
I need to vent. I try everything to keep the weight gain as limited as possible but it's so hard. 😞 I gained 8 pounds and I'm 20w4d pregnant. I have a BMI of 32 so I need to keep the weightgain as limited as possible. I'm so obsessed with it. I weight myself every morning and the mood I have during the day depends on it. I feel stupid because I tried so hard getting pregnant and now when it's actually happening I find it hard to enjoy it :-(

Try to relax. Stress makes you gain weight. Also my dr told me your weight fluctuates throughout the day. My bmi has gone between 33 and 35 and I'm only 15 weeks. I've lost a few lbs as in did with my first but the bmi is a trap I believe too. Not every person has the same body type or build. So how accurate can it really be.

I'm going through the same thing I went to see my high risk doctor she's a little worried cause I gained 32 lbs since I got pregnant I'm 25 weeks I went from 240 to 272... to be honest I'm not too worried about it cause if I'm hungry I'm not going to starve myself.. I eat every two hours cause I had gastric bypass over a year ago I eat smaller portion so I'm hungry more often other then my weight gain my baby girl is doing very well

I go through the same thing. In the first days I was obsessed and my doctor told me to stop. I was 295 at the start and just under 27 weeks I'm 317. She told me to keep it between 15-25lbs and I think I'll end up going over.

I know! I have PCOS and as easy as I thought it was to gain weight before getting pregnant it seems a thousand times easier now. Healthy baby is my goal so I try to look at it as long as she's healthy!

Thanks Tiffany. It's so difficult maintaining the weight if you're constantly hungry. 😳 I feel so guilty, so much woman who can't get pregnant and I'm worrying about this 😞
