33+4 decreased fetal movement

Jules • Trying to conceive baby #2!

Hey ladies. I wanted to share something with you because this is so common. So around 32-33 weeks my baby’s movements changed. It was so hard to arouse her but still felt her kicks here and there. My anxiety built up over 10 days and I was a mess. Yesterday I laid down for a 2 hour nap and drank juice and didn’t feel her so I said this is enough I’m going to the hospital. Called my midwives they were ready. Got to hospital for a non-stress test and the baby was doing great. She had turned positions!!! She is breech and facing my spine which is why I don’t feel her movements as hard or often anymore. I’m posting this because I thought I was going to lose my baby. I have this awful fear of stillbirth from all of the bad stories I’ve heard. I’m going to see a therapist this week because my anxiety is at an all time high.

Of course it is good to go in but just know babies can switch position and they run out of room and they’re sleeping more at this point!

I was so relieved. My husband dropped everything and rushed to hospital and it was just really good. I know once she is born I’m going to have anxiety about her breathing and SIDS so I have to get a handle on it now through therapy. ❤️ thinking of all you ladies who have gone through decreased fetal movement, anxiety, still birth, miscarriage, high risk pregnancies, etc. we are all in this together. ❤️
