I've been with my boyfriend for 18 months. I do trust him but there's always a niggling inside my mind that doesn't trust females.

He has a few female friends, of which the ones I've met are all lovely.

One that I haven't met. Let's call her L, recently broke up with her boyfriend. She messaged my boyfriend straight away to tell him, and hes been supportive etc and asked me to help on what to say.

He told me yesterday they're thinking of meeting up friday night. I'll be at work. I don't know the girl but the grounds for her breaking up with her boyfriend seemed quite petty, and now I'm wondering if she wants to be on the rebound as, in her words to my man 'there arent many good guys out there anymore, thanks for being there for me'

Just something about it doesnt sit right with me (perhaps just because I don't know her), but I dont want to sound paranoid. I just think if the shoe was on the other foot and I was going to meet a male friend who just got out of a relationship, who my boyfriend hadn't yet met, he might be a little uncomfortable too?

Please give me some advice/tough love!
