Middle name? Slade

My father in law for some reason is in love with the name slade. I’m not really for it, but I told my husband it can be a middle name if I got to pick the first name 😂 how terrible is slade as a middle name? Is my son going to catch crap for it?

I don’t like it, but I don’t think it’s terrible and I don’t think he’d get made fun of or anything. And getting full say on the first name sounds like a good deal. 
The only thing I don’t get is why does father in law get any say at all? It’s not his baby.

No one really likes their middle name. Lol where I’m from it’s usually after a grandparent or great grandparent so they aren’t always the cutest.
