I met my husband 4 years after he got out of the Marines, and I always thank God for that. He said during his enlistment he’s seen so many men and women get cheated on, cheat, go through nasty divorces and get absolutely drug through the mud by their SO. The military is just puts such a strain on relationships, and after hearing his stories I would say don’t get into anything too serious and focus on yourself for the next few years.
