When did your toddler stop napping?

My two year old (27 months) has not napped in days. He is so fussy and whiny but since I’ve Stopped nursing him to sleep he hardly naps. I’ve been trying to get him down currently for over an hour. 
Since he is fussy I feel he still needs a nap, but I don’t know what to do? Is it time for him to stop napping?

Dude, I still need naps to function properly, which I don't get so I pound coffee 🤪  We're a napping family. Everyone is happier after an hour nap.

We’ve had a rough patch a few month ago where she didn’t want to sleep at all, but she still needs her nap (3 in a couple of weeks). It’s now shorter, about 1.5 hrs, but if she doesn’t get it she’s miserable all afternoon. If I’d be you I would hang in there and keep trying, mine eventually just went back to it 🤷‍♀️

They go through a stage around 2 where they’re really active and can fight their nap. But it’s generally a phase, and they need to have a nap until they’re closer to 3. Keep persisting with it, even if they’re just in their bed for half an hour and don’t sleep

My oldest napped until 5, it was amazing lol. And my middle quit naps at 1.5 😫
