I’ve been on birth control since having our third baby (fourth pregnancy). He is only our second living child. He is four months old. My OB wants me to take a pregnancy test as he has suspicions that my birth control may have failed. My second pregnancy was a miscarriage. My third pregnancy ended at 20 weeks with a live preterm birth due to IC. My fourth pregnancy I was on pelvic rest for 30 weeks, bed rest for 20 weeks, progesterone injections from 16 to 35 weeks, an emergency cerclage at 23 weeks, water broke at 35+5, 38 hour labor, 23.5 hours of pitocin, and placement of an intrauterine pressure catheter. He had a five day NICU stay. I know I can’t stay home for another 20 weeks. And I know I cannot mentally or emotionally handle another loss. I’m not sure what I’m searching for by posting this. I guess I’m worried about my two living children if I am pregnant, hence considering termination.
