Losing weight

So a week ago my husband’s doctor told him that his Cholesterol was slightly elevated, no medicine needed but that it was best to change his diet to lower it and avoid needing medication for it in the future. We immediately started eating better that day. He’s hoping to drop about 30lbs and my chubby self is hoping to lose 50lbs. Today I weighed myself and I have lost 7lbs!! I was so pleased with myself and hopefully next week the scale shows a loss too. We’re not dieting but making lifestyle changes (low fat, high fiber, low sugar, no processed foods) just wanted to share with someone
