So... recently the past couple days to maybe week my 2.5 year old has been starting to favor her dad, I love seeing them together and seeing her happy but I’ve been usually who she’s preferred so it’s been really hard for me to grasp. She’s been more independent and making choices on who she wants to spend time with whether that’s drawing, or singing, or reading books or walking with her. She’s been usually having us both do stuff with her when we’re both present but I’ve been brushing her teeth since she was like a year and a half and now all of a sudden she wants her dad to do it and gets upset when I start walking with her there... it’s just odd. I’m also the more strict one and my husband is more passive.. I’m not sure if that has anything to do with it cause it’s never been a problem before.. but here I am questioning everything....

Anyone have any advice? How not to get butt hurt? Or how to kinda make my ego not feel so crushed?
