Do you think Hazel will hit the top 20 for girls names in the next 5 years?

It seems I see it here all the time and it keeps climbing higher on the SSA names list. I like the name but but as someone who was one of many with my name in each class growing up, I want to avoid anything super super common. Thanks!

I feel like hazel, rose and grace will be the new Ashley and Jessica.

No I really don’t think it will, based on the statistics. It’s currently at #42, and from the previous year it only jumped one ranking, from 43. I expect it might get into the 30s, but not break into the 20s. 
At #42, it’s not uncommon, but it isn’t as popular as you’d think, either. Only one out of 376 baby girls have this name. So in a random group of a thousand kids, there’d only be one or maybe two Hazels. 
The current #20 name, Scarlett, is the name of one in every 257 baby girls. So even at #20 a name is only found once in 500 babies. 
It’s unlikely to have two in a class, for any but the top 10 names. And Hazel is certainly not going to be top 10.

I love the name Hazel but I also decided it seems like it’s going to be too popular. It probably won’t ever be top 5 but I think it will definitely make it to the top 20
