So we have an outbreak of the coronavirus locally and in the same town as my son's first Birthday party. It has been advised to avoid all public gatherings. I am crying because I planned the most special birthday and now we are canceling it. I just emailed the venue asking for reimbursement. Even if they can't reimburse no one would come at this point. I had all the decorations and have been hand making things. I am just so sad. We also had to cancel his swim lessons that were supposed to start today. Works are starting to shut down. I just wanted to celebrate my little guy and do all the fun things parents get to do. We waited many years for this baby and have planned all this time how we were going to love him and how lucky he was to be around so much loving family. Now family cannot come near him right now. I am just sad.
