Cottaging with a newborn?

I am due in the end of May, and I would really like to go cottaging with the rest of my family (mom, sisters and nieces) towards the end of the summer this year. Most likely end of July so it's still nice and warm. 
Would you take your newborn to the cottage? Assuming she comes on time, she will be about 8 weeks old. My boyfriend would also be coming obviously, and everyone there is a mom or an auntie. 
Am I nuts? Or do you think it's okay?

We are going camping with a six week old and staying overnight. I’m probably going to have a panic attack while packing, pack way too many battery operated fans and hats and then it will all go fine and I’ll pack it all up to come home 🤷‍♀️
I figure worst case, you pack up and leave in the middle of the night, but if you never go, you’ll never know if it would have been fine.

I plan on taking my newborn to the campsite, we won’t be spending over nights but will be enjoying campfires and fishing just like before given the weather is good.

Definitely go. I’ve a caravan weekend booked mid June when baby will be around 6 weeks, it will be nice to have a change of scenery with a newborn 😊
