Should I travel with baby?

So my daughter (18 months) are supposed to be traveling via airplane to see my mother in law for a week. I’ve had some people question me and say I shouldn’t be going because of the virus. What do you guys think? Would you still go?

I just personally wouldn’t risk it with any of my kids and I have a 16 month old. I just canceled a trip to Arizona to see my sister. If one person on a plane has the virus disinfecting wipes or washing your hands will do little to prevent it the spread of it especially with a baby that age—many of which like to constantly put everything including their hands in their mouths. This particular virus is airborne and is being contracted by people being in close proximity with each other. That said though, many of those who do contract it have mild cases.

I just traveled. We used sanitizing wipes On our plane seats and area. We washed and sanitized our hands just to be safe. We all had the sniffles and scratchy throat normal after air travel which lasted a day or 2.

I’m still traveling. Planes are probably the cleanest they have been and I’m bring wipes for myself as well. Practice good hand washing and don’t touch your face.
