When did you circumcise?

We are doing a midwife center birth and they don't circumcise there so we have to schedule at the hospital after the baby is born. How long did you wait to do this? Do they schedule you asap for this because I can't imagine trying to schedule based on my due date in case he comes earlier or later.

Never for us 🤷🏻‍♀️ I WILL NOT permanently modify my son’s body without his consent, unless it was for a genuine medical reason. 
You do you, but have you considered not getting it done now? If he chooses, as an adult, to get the procedures hen at least he’s made the decision for himself.

I think he was 3 days old when my pediatrician did it at the hospital.

My hospital was supposed to do it but the doctor made a bs excuse not to. Honestly think they were running late and didn’t want to deal with it. My pediatrician was shocked and didn’t understand why they didn’t do it. 
We ended up scheduling one when he was about 2 1/2 weeks old.

We scheduled our son's circumcision at his 5 day check up for the following week and they did it in the doctor's office.

Since I’ll be giving birth at a hospital it’ll be shortly after he’s born. It’s really up to you, but your doctor will let you know the max time you can go.
