Daniel 3:28-29

28Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

29Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed–nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

*These Hebrew boys ( well they're probably men at this point in the story) we're forced to make a choice. King Nebuchadnezzar had built a golden image and said whenever there is any sound of music going on, all who hear the music must bow down and worship this idol, and whomever dont would be burned with fire. Well, the music started, all the people bowed down and worshiped. All but these 3 hebrew boys. So the chaldeans ran to the king and said these three refuse to bow and worship the kings image and they refuse to serve your gods. King Nebuchadnezzar calls them before him and offer to give them another chance to bow down and worship. But they reply that they will not bow down and worship his gods or this image. They inform the king that their God is mighty enough to save them but even if He dont save them they still wont serve the kings gods. This angered the bablyonian king so much that he ordered them to be thrown into a furnace 7times hotter than norm. The flames were so hot that it killed the men who threw these Hebrew boys in. But it did not kill the Hebrew boys nor effect them in anyway, who was servants of the most high God Jehovah. And when the King Nebuchadnezzar saw this it caused him to bless the true and living God. He sent out a decree that if anyone speaks bad against the mighty God of these hebrew, they would be killed. When we stand on faith despite the consequences, we create moments for me people to know that our God is strong and mighty. It may not convert them, but they will know he is real and alive.
