I took my daughter to her doctor on Tuesday because she has some pretty bad congestion. Congestion is lime green but snot is clear.

They did no testing and sent us home.

No appetite, she’s very fatigue, but no fever. She only ran a very low grade the first 2 nights. She tries to tell me the best she can that her throat hurts.

Ive been trying to get her to sleep elevated. She moves so much so that doesn’t work out. Steam showers, humidifier, essential oils, Zarbees cough medicine, I’ve tried everything! She’s getting worse instead of better.

And her breath smells so weird! Not the smell of strep throat though. I can’t even describe it. I guess it could be the mucous?

Now I’m fighting it off myself so I know it’s not allergies.

She’s never had any illness other than common cold. Should I give this thing a few more days? It’s been 4 days. Any tips on how to help my poor baby feel better would be greatly appreciated!
