PSA: thought I'd share some information (keep in mind during my journey I was guilty of not believing either of these things)
1.) Cm is NOT an indicator of pregnancy
2.) Cervix position is NOT a reliable way to test for pregnancy
3.) Peeing on anything BUT a pregnancy test is pointless (ex: using salt, etc)
4.) Nothing can happen BEFORE 6dpo
5.) If your period is late and you start bleeding (although some cases are different) it's not implantation bleeding it's your period
6.) Blood work is 99.9% accurate
7.) You cant be pregnant 2 days after having sex and you most certainly wont feel ANY symptoms before 6dpo
pregnancy test reminders:
*If you take them apart they are INVALID
*Do NOT read them outside the given time frame (I've done this and I know it's hard looking for a positive on the test you threw away an hour ago)
*when you get a positive, stop testing to look for line progression, the line doesn't determine a healthy pregnancy, it will just stress you out (I know this because I did this.. guilty as charged 😅)
TTC information (which all of you know but it's for the sake of the ones that need help) :
*The best chance you will have at concieving is having sex IN your FERTILE window
*When an opk is positive STOP testing, you will be ovulating within 24-36 hours of that positive
*Egg white cervical mucus is fertile, creamy is not.
Remember, it can take a healthy couple up to a year to concieve, you aren't out until af shows, and you aren't alone ❤️
